While touring the patch this evening I found a turtle burying her eggs right next to my cucumber and squash plants. She wasn't too happy about me removing her from the patch. There must have been 25-30 eggs in the ground about 1 ft deep. I believe she was heavy to the charts by the way she felt while I was removing her.

I did best with my own seed and got to travel to a couple of new weighoffs. I attended the OVGPG weighoff in Canfield, OH and the Pumpkinville weighoff in Great Valley, NY. I had a great time at both weighoffs and got to see some old friends and make some new ones as well. I hope to return next year with bigger fruit.
