It has been cool and rainy for a couple of days. Good news, water tanks are almost full of rainwater now, bad news, had to run heaters because it’s been less than 8°C overnight and into morning. Diesel is only a $1.40 a litre now so thats about 14 bucks a night.

72 Carter well and away my best plant in a far from best patch. The nameless fruit is a few days older. I pollinated that one at about 6 pm so after the whole day open its an open and self. Growing two fruits at the same time to avoid exploding, maybe.

This is what’s left of the 2037.5 Crews ‘23, should make lots of pies.
This maybe the most solid fruit I’ve grown in a long time. The only cracks were these little ones that always form on the bottom from being the flat spot. Decently thick and solid.
