The big hitters don't have time to do diaries and this year I know why. Every spare second has been in the patch. I wanted to share our first big loss of the season. We lost a 100+ pounder on our 1446 early in the season and couldn't get another late set on that plant. Then this past week the blossom end splits we'd been tending on the 1367 finally made it through to the cavity. Rather than caulk it and keep it going we decided to get the seeds out. So here are some pics of the 708 Vandrey 08 DMG (1367 Rose 03 x 1446 Werner 06). Ended up 5% heavy. Four plants to start the year down to two now.
