I started another 524 reid 2 days ago(was cracked shell),,,the first one i tried starting looked bad,,,and today the second one i started shot a root!!! So if evrything goes according to plan 1250 and 524 reid will be main plants and 905 frantz will be a backup

This is the 905 today. doing good. about 7ft today.. side vines are starting to come out. they are about 3 feet long or a little shorter. The main vine tip does not like to stay on the ground so bambo sticks are a must

Found a female today on the 905 frantz. is about 3 leafs away from being on the main and coming to the ground. Im hoping to pollinate it next week if it open up for me. The main today is 9 feet but im guessing he female will come down about 9.5 ft

The female has not opened yet. Seems to be bigger still solid flower is still green. main is about 4 feet past it now. I got another female going to be on the ground tomorrow we will see if this one opens up quicker

Here is a pumpkin at about 20 feet on the main. It is day 10 for it today and it measured 20in cir 14.5in end to end. and 14.4 side to side. Only thing that concerns me is it has splits in stem and a large one by were i cut the leaf.

Frerichs Farm was a very good time. Was my first weigh off ever that i attended. I hope that i can bring a pumpkin to it next season. I also got to meet some great grower such norm Frank and Bart was a pleasure meeting you guys.
