Thought i would try to get some pictures of the great finish we had this year. here is the runt of the pack. Alpha the 2365 x 2424 it is now the 1516 Caspers 23' she finished 12th at River Praire and went 8% lite which was surprising. best plant, but slowest growing fruit.

Next up the one we called Twin, 1707.5 x 2365. is Now Iowa's #4 all Time Say hello to the 1935.5 Caspers 23' she was our only win of the season, taking 1st place at Bloomfield. nice pumpkin, had one little section of main where the driptape emmitter created a underside split. probaly going to give this one a go next year.

Simba, 1707.5 x 2365 Iowa's #2 all time largest pumpkin and 2nd 2,000+ Say hello to the 2088 Caspers 23' she was a great fruit, the whole time. largest one i ever had to give a pull in the patch at over 1800 lbs. We were able to take 3rd at Anamosa with her, and as big as she was still 336 lbs shy of last years pb.

Say hello to the 1965 Caspers 23' was pretty all summer, if you find me on fb, ig, or tiktok i made a little slide show every 5 days of growth, she really turned orange between day 55 and day 60.

a year ago today i broke a rib at the gas station thanks to a slick spot. this morning was a much better ending to the year. Got a decent buck at 12 yards, and can relax next weekend.
