The picture I have is a memorial to my Wife who passed away from breast cancer May 7. I started growing giants last year and she loved watching them grow. Monday, July 19 View Page Do not have any names for my pumpkins as when I started last year I ordered them on line. I used seeds from the pumpkins they produced last year. I had a late start but the plants are in great shape compared to last year. I have a few small ones started and have yet to pick which ones will be the keepers. The main grew up through some thick branches and the pumpkin is suspended about 5 feet up. I figure as it grows it should make its way to the ground. This guy is as tough as they come and it is a war that is fought daily with no clear winners. I use snail bait but they seem to still be able to get to the flowers and vines.
