Growing opposite directions, stumps are parallel to each other to maximize my patch space while still giving the stumps a 5 foot distance between them. DAP 58 today.   Wednesday, August 23 View Page Unfortunately a few weeks ago the 2183 Mendi I was growing, stopped. Very quickly the plant started going downhill. After 2 weeks of sitting in the patch slowly getting soft, we were able to get her weighed. 1037.9 lbs, 1/10th of a lb from my personal best!! I believe if we weighed her earlier, she would have been my biggest fruit ever. I came in 1st place for Squash at topsfield, and 6th place overall.
