all plants and pumpkins are doing well so far.
last week I placed a greenhouse over the 1290Porier to give it a good chance. the plastic keeps too much sun out of the greenhouse and let the sun in when there is less sunshine. greenhouse is open in the back and in the front so it's is cool in the greenhouse, as by wonder it's only 3 °c in the greenhouse when it's hot outside. the greenhouse also protect the plans against haildammge.
the plant is growing fast now and will be ready for pollination next week.
