The first pollination of the season surprisingly goes to the 993 Vincent-McGill...woohoo. Pollinated a nice 5 lobe female at about 8' with the 904 Stelts this morning. Although closer than I would like, it is time. Hopefully we will get another chance further out in the next few days. This plant has developed surprisingly quickly.
Tomorrow morning we will be pollinating a female on the 998 Pukos at 11-12ft also with the 904 Stelts. This 998 is a great plant. It is a good 25ft wide with the first 3 sets of secondaries all at the edge and turned back into a spider pattern. The main is likely out 15'+.
The plants are all dark green with excellent growth and all the vines are reaching as they clime across the ground. This tells me my N level is where we want to be.
Did an application of seaweed and pHortress last night.
Rain the last few days has hindered patch work. Vines are buried on all but the 800 Neily* and the 995 Vincent*. Getting the weeds under control has been a challenge but I am gaining.
