Some minor surgery on the blossom end of the 1255 today.

Where the growth nub was next the the blossom end, I noticed that it was wet for the past few days but I figured that it was just from the few days of rain that we had today. Upon closer inspection, it burst like a zit when I applied a little pressure.

Out came the pruning knife and a small spoon and I cleared away all the mush, cleaned the area and then applied dry sulphur poweder till it was all covered. There is now a fan on it 24/7 and I am hoping that it will just scab up over the wound. There was not too much mush, so I am not overly concerned at this point.

With these plants, if it is not one thing...it is another!!
