RATS!!
While inspecting the nice canteloping and stretching that the 1255 pumpkin was doing, I figured I'd take my daily look at the blossom end.
Right inside the surgery area that is all now dried up and healed, a nasty little vertical crack!!
Just when the weather had come back to real nice and the daily gains were steady at 16.5 lbs per day.....oh well!!
Have sealed it up and now hope to limp along till a weigh-off so I can at least get an exhibition weighed pumpkin.
Thanks Chad Gilmore for the advice and counsel, hope mine seals up like yours did and goes heavy too!!
