Back to pumpkins.
Here is the 1255 van Kooten that we harvested yesterday for display at a friends business as part of Harvest Festival in our neighbourhood area called Edgemont Village.
They shut the streets down for the day and have concerts, face-painting, food, entertainment for the kids and this year had some stunt riders doing tricks on bikes that were amazing.
Here it is resting in the trailer before transport.
The past couple of weeks of sun, and leaving the blankets off during the day have turned this pumpkin into quite a nice shade of orange.
