Repotted 4 OS Cross Cabbage and 4 Megaton Cabbage into 4" peat pots, they are looking great, nice and compact. They are getting lots of light from 6 florescent tubes side by side and an inch or two from the plants. Also seeded a couple Sakurajima Mammoth Radish and a couple LunchBox Tomato for some early tomatoes.
Line-up for 2010 is officially set. 4 plants - 600 sqft each plant 1268.5 Hunt (901 Hunt X 1631.5 McKie), 1375.5 Liggett (grew the 1636 Liggett), 843 Bourne (1207 Young X 1309 Hebb), and a 901 Hunt (grew the 1678). Will grow my own 682 Nieuwenhoff for back-ups...would really like to grow one but there's only so much room. I really hope to cross the 901 Hunt and 1375.5 Liggett together both ways to produce a couple 1600+ producer crosses. I am also planning on growing Vincent giant sunflowers, Giant corn, and giant bushel gourds. This way I might have a chance on bringing home something shiney from Port Elgin.
