welcome to the SHAZZYDOME!!!!!!!!!!! hopefully the last of the heavy snows are done and it was time for me to get out the greenhouses and try something a little new this year. the greenhouses went over the specific planting spots almost 2 months early. with the fall addition of 75 brown bags of maple leaves that were shredded fine, i figured this will help to begin to hasten the breakdown cycle and increase the soil activity with the warmer sunny days coming. i will move the greenhouses and still ammend my soil when things dry out. but if for some reason this spring is cold and wet and tough to get into the patch to till and add compost and ammendments, at least i will have a dry and warm spot in the individual planting spots and can ammend those any time i want because they are protected, and then ammend the rest as mother nature allows.
i still have to add additional stakes and ropes and secure the shazzydome for the high winds of spring storms around the corner. this picture is looking out my window this morning georgie boy. 2 men enter, 1 man leaves.
