Hail last night. We also had 1" of rain. Today it's 42 degrees, predicted to be 30 overnight. I covered all six pumpkins with blankets, and my three dozen tomato plants are covered with everything I could find: coffee cans, flower pots, milk jugs. I folded three dozen paper boat/hats, but the wind was blowing so hard, I didn't think I could hold them in place long enough to get dirt around them to keep them down overnight. And the mud! Up to my ankles. This year better start to improve in a hurry.
