and this is my starting line up and keepers out of the 44 original started tomato plants. from left to right. the 5.58 Timm x self, the brutus magnus, the gordon graham delicious, and 2 big zac f2 hybrids on the right. the big zacs are the most vigorous of the bunch. but all are healthy and this cloudy pic in my solarium does not do them the justice of how nice like in the bright sunlight. i am very proud of these babies that just broke above ground 38 days ago. their soil temp has never seen a night lower than 54 degrees and they have only been fed a very lite dose of 10-10-10 when still in 2 inch pots with seed starter mix prior to transfering the best into 5" peat pots filled with patch soil with rti pumpkin pro myc fungi. also they got a light neptunes seaweed and fish about a week ago. they will go into the patch later this week when things dry out. they will stay in the shazzydome until then getting the royal treatment. i pulled all plants into the solarium today cuz i picked out the best 5 for me and 3 best for my mom dad and my aunt chrystal and her husband j.b. get well aunt chrystal, you are in my prayers. i gave 8 plants to some of my contractors at work and all the other guys who saw them chimed up...looking for some...but too late...cuz today is the big tomato draft at Bobby's Tap. lol. it sounds so stupid, but my buddy McDermitt is gonna grow one and is a huge sports and this has escalated into a whacky event...as do most things at Bobby's.
