it's in the upper 40s and windy as hell outside and the temps in both greenhouses are a toasy 79 degrees at last check. how funny is the shazzydome now georgie boy. keep laughing cuz it is one of the best investments i have ever made for this hobby....so far that is. but it stands up strong in the wind without a worry and the vents are very easy to use with 4 on top and 7 down low including the 5' door opening. zip up zip down. it is a well designed portable greenhouse that pops up like 15 combined umbrellas with 8 flexible tent support stakes inside to help keep the dome shape in the winds. i used stronger support ropes and you have to make a stronger ring with tie wire than the plastic ones that come with them. heavier rope attached to the stronger wire loops through the sewn on canvas straps will ensure the plastic rings do not snap in a 70 mph downburst like one of my smaller greenhouses some years back that made it 1 block down the road. so was 550 bucks pricey...yes...but i just had a smoke in the dome looking at the pumpkins plants and my tray full of my tomato plants and all i could do was to think of ole' georgie boys jokes at the winter meeting. he has some in his early diary pics under "George J". the fatman is laughing now georgie, lololololol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
