...and the 1370 Rose also starting to bend over and look for more room to grow. It really does help planting them on a slight angle towards where they should fall.
I expect to have to cut that "kickstand" second leaf off later as the vine begins to lay down. Almost every year, I need to trim that leaf off in order to assist and avoid any issues.
Its always tough to trim off an early leaf at that stage but it was a great tip I got early on by one of my grower mentors....thanks for that!
