NO! I did not! lol so I turned it all up with a spade fork and picked grass clumps till I thought Id puke, Lord I hate crab grass or whatever kind of grass that is! ugh Then I hit it lightly with the tiller.That gives me an extra 5 ft of growing space and will allow a 19-20 ft main. I hope thats enough. If I HAVE to run out on the grass I can, but I cant turn up anymore :(
