I have seen a handful of striped cucumber beetles on the outside of the covering, but so far nothing inside other than a couple of 3-lined beetles and Colorado potato beetles, now deceased. Just my opinion, but I'd rather be on a 12 foot high ladder learning how to sew on the fly than spraying chemicals!
