this pic might be a repeat as i am not sure if it went through earlier. these are my pear gourds, green and white speckled long neck swan gourds (somethinge like that...they looked cool int the pic and another gourd i forgot what they where. shits and giggles plants to grow on my 6' fence in full sun behind the solarium next to the deck. i got free seeds and whatever sprouted sprouted and they were never thinned out. not sure how many plants or which ones are which, but some little females are giving me a hint at which are which by the shape. just got caught up on vine burying and am taking a break before going out to spray quadris/demand cs (same as warrior) on my monday weekly spray schedule. last week was quilt/demand cs but rains came 4 hours after spray. a couple small leaves got chemically burnt last week so i took that as a sign that the spray dried enough to get me through the week. today i saw my first svb. i am sure they have been around, but i haven't seen one or a cuke beetle since starting spraying 3 weeks. been 6 weeks since last merit drench and that will happen tomorrow now that i have personally seen the enemy. tomatoes and gourds will get sprayed too as i do not plan on eating either. saving the giant tomato seeds for treetop and strong disease control is necessary so pm doesn't start on tomatoes and shift to nearby pumpkn plants. got the white comforters out for tomorrow night since it is going down to low 50s and high 40s the next 3 nights and want to keep as much heat in the pumpkins all night to slowly let them cool down all night long to avoid splits. 35 pounds of rti pumpkin pro down, and 5 pounds left for vine burying this week. and then no more vine buring as the patch will be full. nice.
