a tomato hammock was put under the one keeper double fused tomato so far on the 5.58 timm x self plant. just took some wire and made a bunch of loops and then put that into a circle and tied surveyor's flagging ribbon across from side to side. then i tied the bottom ribbons together in the center and secured this hammock from 4 outer points of the circle to a center wire that was attached to the pole. sort of like a lifting ring made of plastic ribbon and wire that is wide enough to allow more growth room and totally support the tomato. now i have a nice easy lounge chair for it to sit in with no weight on the stem any more. the other double fused split early at the blossoms into the fruit and was culled and i have one more very small double fused one at about 6' and still letting the plant flower. gonna cull all to this one in the pic soon if all goes well or maybe keep 2 at the most on an eventual 10 foot plant that is about 7' tall now. i have grown bigger tomatoes not trying, but this is the best i got so far going just for mega blooms or one or 2 big ones on a plant that has no suckers and is going to grow 10' tall. the 2 keeper single bloom tomatoes were getting nice size on the gordon craham plant but they got blossom end rotting. black ends showing up. i have had tomatoes where only one variety did this while the others were fine. hoping its and isolated plant thing. got one other small megabloom with 2 fused females on either the brutus magnus and the other palnts just have one or 2 of the best shaped single blooms per cluster growing while waiting for a mega bloom to show on those plants.
