Yesterday July 6 pollinations: 1236* x self 5 lobes; 729 x 923 5 lobes. Today July 7 pollinations: 603.5 x 729 5 lobes (first one pollinated on main finally). 923 x 603.5 right side vine. Needed insurance policy in all this heat. It is possibly the hottest July on record so far, another consecutive 101° day today. Leaves on vine tips are frying, even with the water system is set to 20 min per plant 3 times a day. No pumpkins have aborted due to heat yet though.
