Sprayed 10% milk on both sides of leaves for mildew prevention. I'm rotating between 3 biological control methods: milk, dawn soap (for aphids), and neem oil (mildew and aphids). So far no aphids or mites this year. I hope it's because I'm continuing to spray and not just because they haven't hit yet this year. Last year they were so bad that big sections of the underside of leaves were a different color from all the aphids and mites coating them. If aphids start showing up despite soap and neem I will have to break down and buy some chemicals.
