just re-read my last 2 posts and saw an error in my judgement. with the possibilities of 1 to 2 inches of rain tonight, i will not be giving any of the plants anything at all today except enough water to avoid a surge from the rains tonight. just got done adding myc fungi around the 1147 leaf junctions. no burying vines on this 1147 since that main rot episode. all lower taps are encourage down with a little dirt if needed under the vine along with the myc fungi. i just want them tapped in from the bottom and if the top taps make it around on the 1147, so be it. i got a lot of females showing on trained tertiaries so if this one or the next one on this strong secondary don't take, i should have a nice bunch of white pumpkins to give away in october. the thickness of the main vine at the point where it was cut off 3 weeks ago is getting massive thick and the plant has kicked out a lot of growth in every direction over the past week. the plant is giving me a little more hope each day. if i can pull off a 1000 pound pumpkin from this plant after all it has put me through, i would consider it my greatest accomplishment to date since starting to grow AGs.
