Im not sure if these measurements will keep up the pace but I sure hope so, I have 3 pumpkins at the 25 day mark that are 12 to 10 inches bigger CC and one pumpkin just a few inches behind then what my 1402 pumpkin was at the 25 day mark that was grown off the 1068 Wallace.
Last year my measurements was the same way for me with some really big 20 to 30 day measurements and then Mr Foamy shows his ugly head to where I end up growing the pumpkins out the rest of the season on no stump and half a plant. Im really crossing my fingers that it doesnt happen this year again, cause I think the faster and the bigger these pumpkins grow before day 20 to 40 the more water/energy it has going through the stump, main and secondaries to the pumpkin which In my personal opinion think might cause a problem to where its to much for the plant to handle at one time and something gives. If I can get past the 40 day mark with out Mr Foamy showing up, I think I might have a chance with a pumpkin or two with this years measurements so far.
My 3 biggest pumpkins and my oldest so far that are at the 25 day mark is my 1385 Jutras, 991 Urena and my 1450 Wallace. My 998 pukos is just a few inches behind, But all 4 are growing like champs, even with a little stump problem that showed up 5 days ago on the 991 Urena, its surprisingly still keeping up the pace.
I still have more plants that haven't reached that 25 day mark yet, but so far so good besides the boo-koo aborts I been having this hot humid summer.
