Day 30 for the 729 Rosa: 102 circ, 72 ss, 67 ee, 241" OTT for 303 lbs. What a crazy looking pumpkin, with 1/4 slightly orange and smooth and the other 3/4 with skin that looks like the moon or something. And it also has a concave blossom. All my pumpkins except the 923 and 603s are like that. When you make the transition from circumference only measuring to full OTT, there really is no true means of measuring the growth over that time period. My new OTT measurement suggests bigger gains than if I only measured circumference. But either measurement you look at it doesn't seem that the 729 is growing all that fast and ... there is an issue with this pumpkin...
