and here is clegg on the angle shot holding the camara up high. getting more gnarley looking by the day and turning light orangish yellow. the main vine near the stump remains completely healed even with the cleaned fissure hole and drain hole i put in. solid as a rock. and the stem on April on the 873 is fine still too and the hole in the stem is healed fine still and she is sitting at 800 lb estimate today on day 46. she will get some pics on sunday in the sun as she is starting to get some salmon color to her white shoulders and the cantaloping is increasing more and more every day. i think she is solid as a rock and is still concentrating more internally than externally. and i think i finally got one back on the 1147. the first set from 10 days ago was culled due to deformed shape. the one at 5 days looks good and tonight is already 17" circ on day 5.5 and the plant has filled completely back up except the area i have reserved for the two tertiaries before this secondary vine pumpkin to wrap spider around the kin for 20 feet each. i might have a late one back in the game and will push it as hard as possible and fast. with a late weigh off oct. 9th at stoughton, this gives me 75 days of growth before loading night and sept. and oct. are forecasted to be warmer than average. stoughton or bust with this one if it hangs in there and gets through the possible abort stage yet. cooler days right now should help. for record it was selfed with the only flower that day in the patch from the 1147 and was a nice 5 lober.
