I moved my stump cover that was keeping my stumps dry and I saw fras, sure enough, I ended up cutting my stump in half, pulling out 3 vine borers, I also found a few more on that plant. I then found under a vine comming from the stump a split vine, I was'nt sure if it had vine borers because it was underneath, so I cut it off. I must of cut a third of the vines, leafs off the plants. Now to see how much it slows the pumpkins gains, hopefully not more than half. Next year traps.
