The Stidwill pumpkin has proven to be sterile. Each pollinated pumpkin so far has reached the size of a small melon and stops, turns white and rots. I've let about ten pumpkins open pollinate to see if any of them will take. I'd still like to see if I can get a 300-400 pounder for dispaly. If none of these take, I'm taking the plant out next week.
