Sprayed and drenched compost tea this morning. A friendly grower from Utah told me that tertiaries don't develop their own roots so they just suck nutrients away from secondaries. I'm going to have to check my (terminated) tertiaries tonight to see if they aren't rooting at all. I'm thinking if they don't have any roots I might as well cut them all the way back to secondaries. Of course their leaves can absorb nutrients too. hmmm.
