This one is a much later pollinated (last week of August) but managed to centre itself on our trellis which is kind of neat. Well over 4 feet long and still growing 3" per day. Both gourds on the same plant.
We grew Reiss Skyrocket tomatos on one side, and a long gourd plant on the other obviously with both going up opposite sides. The long gourds wanted to take over, and I will plant the skyrockets elsewhere next year and give the long gourds the full trellis.
There is no long gourd category at the Weighoff in Nanaimo so these will just have to get picked and shown with the rest of the Halloween display later on.
