So it's off to Smoky Lake. Again, picked up Mom and Dad in Calgary and made the trip north. Here's the 1019, along with the other two biggies that were there. The one in the middle was Mary Lobay's 759 and the one on the left was Don Crews' 987
The 1019 came in 3rd. 750.8 pounds and 1.1% heavy, so pretty close to the chart. I was sure she was going to go a little heavier. Oh well, still a good showing for the fun year we had.
The pumpkin has been donated to the Bluegrass Nursery Pumpkin Festival in Calgary. It will be dropped onto a car. Let's hope it makes a big boom.
