i just got this picture from mama shaz. she is officially a member of the joe platte fan club. lol. my mom got to bengtson's early after church that sunday morning while we were setting up. she found an ear to talk in to and it happened to be joe's. lol. yep, joe got a taste first hand where i got a lot of my genetics from. she called me and told me she had this picture made into a hard copy and is going to mail it to him. she said he was the nicest guy and joe told me later that he appreciated the conversation that morning. she is a character. this is joe with his 1420 Platte 2010 at bengtson's farm. with it going 9 percent heavy and ken's 1605 going 15% heavy, that 1303 sweet seed will see more dirt this year for sure. thanks for making it to the show joe and helping out with the scale...we appreciated your long drive to help make the innagural Monsters of the Midway Weigh Off the success that it was. hope to see ya again next year and congrats on the killer year!!!
