With the season about done we couldn't take it any longer and had to cut up the big squash to check the wall thickness and see how many seeds we could harvest. With the girl going 18 percent heavy we knew she would be thick and she didn't dissapoint. The slice to the side showed just how thick she was with the shoulders on the stem end being about twice as thick. There was very little seed cavity. The seed count was only so so with a lot of seeds being immature and a lot of empty ones but there are still quite a few good ones available. I will be growing one even if they may produce something with a grey stripe or two.
