Planted today the first two of three competition plants.
Has been anxious wait holding off to plant but history has shown the lead up to christmas is not good for pumpkin growth and so this year have purposely delayed plant starting.
The weighoff I am aiming for is not until mid April so technically believe I may be timing it well as my traditional November plant is well and truly over by late March.
First two in the patch are two 2010 offspring the Beachy 441.5 (1725 Harp selfed)and Welty 164 (1421stelts x 259.5 Welty)
Waiting to see what goes into my last spot.
