I researched hydroponic gardening two years ago. I needed to do something non-traditional because of the limited space in my yard and the surrounding trees. Hydroponic growing boxes with Miracle-grow potting mix, water in a tank and wicks to bring the right amount of water to the potting mix proved to be the solution to my propblem. Here are my strawberries, onions, peas, carrots and four kinds of pepper growing in boxes on the North side of my house.
