Both plants have paler leaves with green veining. Could it be manganese deficiency as a result of cold weather limiting uptake at a time of increased need (near pollination)?
Noticed another change in the garden in that my hibiscus has buds about to flower. It seems that the weather has tricked the plant into thinking it is autumn
