A Tweet just a few moments ago concerning the freak thunderstorm we just had.
The Morning Call @mcall .45 inches of rain reported at Allentown airport in 7 minutes. Live storm updates here:
I live in Southern Allentown near the borough of Emmaus. We received over a total of two inches of rain in under 40 minutes. I live on a hill so flooding is not really an issue to the exception of the garden. While it was still raining heavily I went out and sashed the tomato plants that were partially knocked over from the storm. All is well and I'm happy to report that the five set tomatoes I have from mega blooms are all doing well despite the storm.
