Going Green (Picture taken in the Fall of 2014)
I was also able to get material from Scott’s plant that grew the World Record squash (615 Cantrell x self). Due to space I could not keep the plant very big to set a fruit on but I hope I can kick the plant back into an aggressive vegetative stage so I can have the potential for clones in the spring. If this ends up working out I am hopeful this will have the possibility to speed up the squash breeding lineage.
