both of my plants look great. By far the healthiest looking plants I've had. Both are still in their cold frames but are going to outgrow them soon. I buckled down and used roundup on all the weeds in the patch. I was losing the battle not matter how hard I tried to fight it. Plants wont be out of their cold frames before we get a few more rain storms so We should be OK. My first round of sweet corn is up and thriving. The nights have been cold and earlier this week we had record daytime lows and 7 inches of rain. Despite the weather troubles; all is well. My regular vegetable garden is thriving this year also. Forewarning to those growing this year; my squash plants already have a mildew problem this early in the season!! Had to spray with a fungicide yesterday. Also gave everything a nice dose of fish&kelp yesterday for the first time.
