Despite multiple surgical debridement's and medicinal treatment the patients prospect for recovery is poor. This goop stinks and is drawing flies. I stripped necrotic tissue back 3 times today and it just keeps turning yellow brown within hours. About 1/4 of the stem is gone at this point. Too bad this little guy was growing well. I will probably pull it tomorrow.
