We are approaching day 30....vine is almost a foot off the ground where the tap root is sticking down .. Will leave roots as long as possible....was thinkin about trying Ian p's trick and slip a bucket around that baby, fill it with dirt ...then maybe let it dry out after its full of roots to tell the pump house to send more goodies thatta way...almost 100 lbs heavier than same day last year...
