Happy New Years to everyone! The grass in the picture was planted on December 2. I was shocked to see that it germinated. Normally grass planted that late in the season will germinate the following spring!
We had an unusually warm December, Although, it looks like winter has started here now. I had 5 degrees Fahrenheit this morning. As long as the heavy el nino pattern stays in effect I think we will have an easy winter. That means the West coast gets all the cold. I don't want to see a winter like last years any time soon.
