I think this gets asked every year, what is causing this leaf damage, has it been flipped over by the wind so sharply that the structure is broken, I don't know much about silica and I am not sold on it yet but would it strengthen the leaves. Last year the 20 closest leaves to the stump did this so bad they just broke off eventually. I was thinking I damaged those with a foliar spray but this has never been sprayed
