Last summer my journey began shortly after I lost all of my pumpkins the last week of July during an extended period of 100+ degree days. I had been experimenting with using considerably less water in growing giant pumpkins. It didn't work. It did however free me up to begin my curse breaking journey. I took my son to Chicago to see the Cubs play our Giants and we learned about the Curse of the Billy Goat.
