Babe Ruth was sold to the Yankees in 1919. It was 84 long years until Kurt Schilling & the bloody sock came along in 2004 and the Red Sox finally won the World Series. Now that is what I call a CURSE. I also think selling the Babe to another team was just plain STUPID.
