I also have an assortment of Big Zac, Domingo and Delicious plants. I messed up this year after a complete replant and did not use pollination nets. I do not have many bees but have been watching them travel plant to plant. The one plant that has best chance of being pure delicious 7.33 Hunt 2010 shows differences from some of the other purported delicious plants. I also have a bigzac from 7.18 Harp 2009 growing. It is still young but am interested to compare it with the rest of the BigZacs. After all these years of open pollinations in mixed gardens I think variety is a blurred mess. My future crosses will be by characteristic...variety name-competition.
