Now these are Walla Walla onions. Not for heavy's, just for eating. During the Summer I purposely leave a few of the smaller Walla Walla's in the garden just for the purpose of division. The old onion rots during the Fall and Winter then divides into 5-10 separate one's. I separate them and only plant the largest. These are my favorite for eating.
