As you can see my fertilizer mix is 171 ppm's. In my 2 liter watering can I added 1/8th tsp 20-20-20 (because my wife always uses that for beautiful flowers). That gave me about 120 ppm (really only 100 because our water has 20 ppms of ?) then I added 1 tsp of liquid kelp to get a total of 171 ppm. This is a nice weak solution for tender plants. When the plants are in full swing I'm applying stuff at 1000-1200 ppm. Never had any burns. Cost of this ppm meter is about $30.
